In fact, Paul was downstairs singing and playing the chamber organ. He’s a brilliant organist and very capable - much more so than me these days!

I must say I thought it was very good: appropriate speeds (for me) and lovely musical phrasing. I thought the readings were also very well done and the organ playing excellent.

I was quite happy with the soprano/violin pieces and there was lots of variety.

Trinity and Clare, for example, have two organ scholars sharing duties and I wonder why King’s don’t do the same?
