…as others have also spoken fondly of Cornwall who have led the music here in Truro. Andrew mentions a fondness for Cornish wine, which I can vouch for having reached great heights with Camel Valley’s traditional method sparkling pinot noir rosé. Maybe his project to install the Father Willis from St Peter’s, Brighton in the chapel of St John’s, Cambridge might have been influenced by his appreciation of the famous instrument in Truro Cathedral.
It will be fascinating to watch, and listen to, future musical developments at both Westminster Abbey and St John’s.
