This picture goes to show the amazing work being done in the Leeds Diocese to inspire impressive standards in singing the liturgy with diversity in gender, background, age and ethnicity. Bravo.

Absolutely, a wonderful service - and the effect you mention was heightened by the fact that the In Paradisum was the final music at my father’s funeral 7 years ago.

I love the Duruflé Fugue sur le nom d’Alain so much too - possibly my favourite organ piece, beautifully played and recorded.
