A new team, Laurence John only commenced his new post at the beginning of September.

The choir is in good form with a beautiful sound with quite a warm, resonant balance. Well shaped psalm and and canticles. Howells is the master of this anthem text! The whole capped with a delectable VW voluntary. The music at St Davids is in safe hands with this team. I enjoyed the service greatly.

I understand this was arranged at very short notice, less than two weeks. But it didn't show - a beautiful service with some lovely sounds. I particularly liked the Wesley and the Howells.
