I thought the service was extremely well directed and performed confidently. I just love those Piccolo responses...most original.
The Canticles sounded a bit MacMillan-derivative, I thought. The organ voluntary was the real thing and quite exciting.

Great evensong! Enjoyed the unfamiliar music very much.

        Rupert Gough is the business
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Plenty of new - or less known - music in this CE: greatly appreciated!
