    Matins doesn't normally feature on Radio 3, but here it is on Radio 4:

      I notice that their website describes it as " BBC Sunday Worship (based on Choral Matins)". It looks like a very abbreviated form of Matins - only 6 verses of a Psalm and only one (short) Canticle, but with room for padding with two hymns (and, presumably, a sermon).

        Such are the requirements of this 38 minute slot on R4 I suppose, and I assume R3 wouldn't dream of messing up their breakfast show by the live broadcast of a full church service.

            There wouldn't be much point, the flock would get lost travelling out of home territory as R4 is God's own country isn't it?
