I noted the basses did not join in the ‘appropriate ornamentation’.

Admittedly shaking basses never as convincing as trilling trebles!

The CE repeated om Boxing Day - at least I imagine it'll be...well.....who? The 2014 sub they broadcast on Wed last, or.....well....which ensemble? Crpydon? Manchester or...? ..............any guesses?

The online schedule claims we're getting one from Merton first broadcast in 2018, programmed for the Feast of St Stephen so it is at least appropriate for the day (although I'm a little disappointed that the hymn was not Good King Wenceslas )
