A very pleasing choir + organ arrangement by Rupert Gough (sung by the choir of Royal Holloway) was played on Essential Classics this morning. It was the 'seed' for listeners' choices...which I didn't hear!

Wasn’t that just beautiful? It’s a work I love anyway in orchestral and piano form but that adaptation was spot on!

I thought so too. I've not heard it before that I'm aware of. Barber's Agnus Dei arrangement appeared later in the programme, possibly as part of the follow up suggestions.
