Watched it! A nice gesture from Truro to make that available. Impressed that The Waltz of the Flowers....perhaps not one would expect from a cathedral recital....was Peter Dyke's own arrangement.

This recital has been a regular feature in the cathedral at the beginning of December for many years. It is advertised as 'Christmas Sparkle' and the console is suitably be-decked. It draws a huge audience, and the Nave is always full. The Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy often makes an appearance, allowing Peter an excuse (if one were needed!) to use the Glockenspiel stop on the Solo Organ. Advent 2020, of course, didn't allow an audience in the cathedral, so it is excellent that the recital has been posted online by the cathedral.

ps. Should this be on the Organ sub-forum ...?
