File under 'so bad, it's good'. I think bits of it are hysterically funny, particularly some of the recits. You should have hung on till 'Sind Blitze, sind Donner', that's great.

I've almost always held the view that Bach can stand almost any treatment provided the original notes are respected. Hence any of the 48 played via a synthesizer are OK; likewise Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring arranged for violin, flute, chime-bars (the chorale) and electric bass guitar. (I've heard the latter played by kids and was charmed.) But I think I'll turn down your suggestion to pursue the above. Mind you, Sind Blitze is faintly tempting!
