No indication on BBC website as to whether this is a recording - but presumably in current circumstances, it has to be?
But if so, when the recording was made.............no info as yet.

[Erm...........bit puzzled: R3 presenter has just said that next week is a recording of Tewkesbury Abbey.
BUT R3 CE website says Lancing College? So one presumes the Lancing Coll CE was to have been live but has obviously been cancelled?

I love the open, high-cheek boned vowels of the St John's Choir. Nothing plummy and smug.

Looking at the details, the "Next" service at Lancing College they have on the R3 website is the one broadcast on 9th May 2018, so it's linking to the original "next" from the first broadcast of today's service. If you go from here you get the correct list: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00...casts/upcoming

That would have been an incorrect presumption. All places of worship have been closed since the middle of March.

There was a 'button' somewhere in the broadcast...but who cares.

PS It was at the end of the first set of Responses, btw.

Genuine question: what does this mean?
