Yes I’m listening. I always feel that this is the musical equivalent of consuming an entire tub of Quality Street in one go. After a while the four square harmonies and overly familiar tunes pall a little . It is however interesting to hear the Danish take on a King’s Carol service- some good singing. Also some very good English diction.

That's a tad patronising, I would suggest, since many Europeans, especially from countries with small populations, speak English better than most of us do.

I wasn't going to start off in the role of critic...but I've joined the programme with the Danish National Choir, and I wish they hadn't decided on the Tallis Puer Natus Mass. They make it sound like someone 'stamping out jam tarts' as spmeone put it. Where's the sense of line? For the carols, as Helden says, there is some good singing too. Maybethe four square harmonies and overly familiar tunes
