    It would be interesting to know. One parish church near me unbelievably manages to maintain a large choir of boys, girls and adults. One of the churchwardens, only half-jokingly, said it's the only way they keep the average age of the attendees below 70. A new vicar was recently installed, and was chosen partly (I understand) because of his positive attitude to the church's musical tradition.

      I know you can't, but it's a pity that the Dean involved cannot be named and shamed, here or anywhere else.
