1974, so I guess the organ we will hear will be the old Harrison & Harrison.

I'm sure this has already been used as an archive service only a few years ago. Archiving the archive rather than making the little effort required to ensure they broadcast only recordings they haven't put out recently is very poor show.

No need for apology...but there is the Organ sub-forum which pops up here.

We have two live ones coming up though. They broadcast the Morning Service from Greenwich (Trinity-Laban/Ralph Allwood) today, so I wonder if the BBC engineers will linger to put a future CE in the can?

I can't be bothered to look up the date but you are correct. I think there has been a rethink about the Archive strategy to filling in dead days as a number of recordings have been or are to be made for deferred broadcasts from next month on when the December list is published. Keeble, St Albans, Exeter for certain as they appear on service lists.

I guess though that because it is an 'anniversary' repeat (6 November) at least we should be grateful that we get the correct psalms for the day!

That's a fair point, but there must have been many 6th Evenings that have fallen on broadcast Wednesdays since 1974, or even before.

Has His Dark Materials put you in a time warp, Draco?
