      All very quiet here! Must be holiday time! I caught bits of this in the car including the Parry which was new to me. Lovely fresh and enthusiastic singing! also caught the tail-end of the Dupre and responses. All very nice! I wonder what all those young singers are now doing?

        Parry very fine if quite fast in places. Sanders not for me: too few ideas, and most of them clichés-that Hollywood augmented fourth... Responses sugary: they seemed like a welcome novelty when they first appeared, but haven’t weathered well. Lovely soprano sounds. Superb performance of the voluntary.

          Yes, 'fraid the vol was the best bit for me.
          Sop solos quite nice. But Parry not my thing. It is an Alwood thing, tho'!
