      Thx.
Weird that both the upcoming York and Chichester lists are already available on online, but the Southwark service which is more imminent, is not on the R3 site.
      Hey ho!

.........which makes the omission on the R3 site even more bizarre.

          Thx for even more detail!!

Lovely singing today! Peter Wright (pure ledge) played like a demon in the voluntary. Need to cool off after that Moore anthem. Left me wanting......more.

Lovely solos; treble of course, and that tenor! What tone and control. Peter’s legacy is assured.

great to hear the six lay clerks left as just six... not bolstered with 25 deputies

Indeed - but it was a great pity that his efforts to build up to the magnificent major key climax were largely neutered by the BBC sound engineer, who seemed to diminish the sound of the organ with every step up the (intended) volume scale. I do wish balancers would leave things alone, on FM Optimod does the job anyway and on Dsat/DTT there is no need to pull the pp bits out of the noise floor, because the noise floor is so low. But as you say, 10/10 for the organ performance.

More like the noise BASEMENT! And also the PPI was totally misused. Ones feels they might have been better "serviced" by leaving the levels alone. However one feels in the building Peter's 32 foot faggot might have given a better impression. A disappointment no doubt. But here's to many more!!!!!!
