    I haven't heard this broadcast yet, but might I ask which "platform" you were listening on? (FM DAB DSat DTT or internet)?

      Me - both DAB & online but in different rooms because I was a bit foxed and deliberately went from one to the other to check what I was hearing.

          Thanks - in which case (both cases in fact) it won't be the FM processor that was doing the damage, but something/someone on site. There have been many occasions in the last few years (the modern era) where attempts have been made - pretty clumsily - to smooth out the the ffs and the pps of CE manually on site, and generally they haven't worked well, sounding as though the operator had little experience.

          Anyway, I'll try and take a listen.
