Especially enjoyed 'Advent Calendar' where the ensemble sounded at its best...singing gently.

I thought the introit was rather lovely too...…..especially the last chord which was so in tune and the ensemble almost perfect - it sounded like a musical instrument! Interesting and rhythmic canticles too!

A beautifully sung service with many delectable moments in a lovely acoustic. I enjoyed especially the introit, psalms and BC’s O Sapientia, which was new to me. JR’s ‘There is a flower’ movingly sung with a superb soloist (surely one of JR’s best carol creations?). Nils Greenhow’s Advent Calendar confidently sung with impeccable intonation; a worthy addition to the Advent anthem list.
Good to hear the congregation joining in the last hymn. A great CE.

A very intimate sound. Anything to do with the recording advantages of the interior of St SW?
And the tune ends too soon for us all
