Didn't know she was fussy about the pronounciation of her name. Eugeunie, not Eujaynee.

This is all very entertaining, but ... this is a Choir forum, and the choir of St George's Chapel, directed by James Vivian and accompanied by Luke Bond, did a perfectly beautiful job, IMO, in enriching the wedding of two people with lovely music, performed to perfection. Some hired-in tenor lowered the tone I regret to say but, that apart, musically the service was all that one might want.
Sorry to be a party-pooper!

Yes.
Either by using the link I put in my original posting or, now that ITVHub has updated itself, by clicking on this link: https://www.itv.com/hub/this-morning/1a1960a5902
The service itself begins about 1hr 20mins into this link.
(And I can confirm that, for good or for bad, Nick Witchell is nowhere to be seen or heard.)

I never even noticed that I was making my debut on the Choir forum - apologies to any outraged choristers.

As ever, it's the music that interests me on these occasions and I thought the chapel choir was excellent - another golden age for them, comparable with C. Robinson's tenure. The men are a class act and the boys sound is very fine. I know we'll be hearing a lot more from them soon... Good!
The Finzi part-song, My Spirit Sang all Day was a little to rushed for my taste, but as I say, excellently sung.
Thank heavens for Duruflé's Ubi caritas at or around the composer's tempo indication (!) For me, it's infinitely preferable to the choral dry ice setting we heard two royal wedding ago - ahem!
Bocelli was all over the place, and made me cringe. OK, the pieces he sang are not the greatest works of vocal art, but they CAN be sung to great effect in the right hands and not purely as vehicles for vocal personalities. 'Twas ever thus. As someone who sings them often, the challenge is always there and the punters LOVE them, which IS important.

PS Thanks to Mrs A. have now heard the choir bits! Indeed, very fine...only 11 trebles at a cursory count, doing a grand job with excellent-sounding men.
