        Not Sep 19.

But I don’t want to argue - I just have very little time availabile to me and I just don’t want to miss anything. And I still can’t delete PMs.

          Try this Jean.

Go to the Forum (you're probably already there)
At the top click Private Messages
          Click Inbox

You will now see all your received messages. with a thin Red Band at the top.
On the left of this Red Band is the word 'Inbox'
On the right is the word 'Messages followed by a number, next to which is a small empty white box.

          Click on the white box.
All your messages will now turn yellow. (This indicates all the messages are ready for action.)

Scroll to the bottom, and on the right you will see a box with Selected Messages
          Click on this box.
A menu will appear with various options, including Delete with a little white circle by it.

Click on the white circle by Delete.

Finally, click on the box underneath, Proceed.

All the messages in your Inbox will now disappear, and you should be able to receive new Private Messages.

          ****************

You can, if you wish, do the above procedure to your Sent Items.

          Good luck.

Yes, let's hope Jean is able to access messages, one way or another.

I'm surprised the usual suspects on here haven't been on their Elgar-bashing routine. No doubt that will come later.....

I'm looking forward to this afternoon's broadcast.

One day left to listen to an excellent performance by Brabbins / BBCSSO of The Dream of Gerontius - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0000d3t.

But let us not clutter up the Durham CE thread. Please add your disparaging comments to this thread : http://www.for3.org/forums/showthrea...ight=Gerontius

Sorry, DracoM, you got the date wrong in the thread title also
I'll be interested to hear the Elgar and compare with James Lancelot's interesting DVD of the same.

Well hard to bash Elgar’s choral music today because there isn’t any.

I never said anything about Choral Music, but there's the small matter of the voluntary. It's often been bashed by the people I refer to as suspects.

We're just about to have the final hymn, and I have to say this CE is the CE from heaven as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely fantastic in all respects!!

And the voluntary certainly didn't disappoint.

Can't praise this CE enough, choice of music (I know that's personal), singing, direction, organ playing. Sheer joy.

If only they'd do more of these cathedral relays and fewer of the "specials", such as the recent Assisi one....
