Hum, spent a very happy couple of hours trying to track it down... to no avail. I agree that Bevan seems a possible culprit - it really is so evocative of 'Corvedale' but I think the 'home-grown' route is certainly the most likely - "are you out there Ben?" Keep us posted!

I can inform you that David Lowe has decided to resign his post at Norwich with effect from sept 1 and will be joining the RNCoM as professorial staff.

Sorry about the somewhat delayed response. I shall be sad to see him go as I have very much enjoyed attending evensong at the cathedral while the choir has been under his sensitive control. I have also watched him in action working with the choristers and they seemed to be enjoying themselves as well as being well-disciplined. However, I can see no reference anywhere to his leaving, and September 1st is not very far away. Has anyone heard who might be replacing him or is this still a national secret?
