    Exeter College Choir? If so (and if not), that - as far as I can see - was the last time a UK choir won. Do we not go in for it any more?
    It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

      No, sorry, by "we" I meant the Scottish Philharmonic Singers, and by "won" I meant the UK competition, though the recordings were then submitted for the European competition.
