‘Radio 3 in Concert’
Petroc Trelawny [b. Helston, Cornwall] presents Radio 3 In Concert from Truro Cathedral. The Choir of Truro Cathedral with [Assistant Director of Music since Sept 2017 and] organist Joseph Wicks, and directed by [Director of Music] Christopher Gray, perform contemporary works from around the world [in the first part of the concert]. This includes music by the Bulgarian composer Dobrinka Tabakova, to the Norwegian composer Kim Andre Arnesen and Scottish composer James MacMillan. There will also be a performance of the Requiem by the twentieth century composer Maurice Duruflé, which incorporates themes from Gregorian Chant.
