Choral music fanciers, do tune in to tonight's Radio3 in Concert for a rare live evening relay of great (and semi-great) choral music from a Cornish Cathedral.

This me and MrsBBM will be listening to. Fond memories of our trips to Cornwall. We always would go to Truro, and see the cathedral in all it’s majesty. There’s a rather good brewery just down the road from there, called Skinner’s, if anybody hasn’t been!

Pretty well solid gold from start to finish. Fine mix of known and unknown, Truly splendid.
Could have done without PT, however.................

Perhaps potential R3 listeners took the evening ‘off air’ so to speak, on the eve of the Proms. Or maybe choral music junkies didn’t quite believe that a provincial cathedral choir was actually going to occupy the R3 airwaves with a live evening concert.

All one can do is to advise those even vaguely interested who didn’t listen live, to go henceforth to the iPlayer accompanied with a glass of your favourite tipple... maybe a pastis for the Duruflé.

Agreed: a concert not to be missed, IMO.

I have no words to describe the beauty contained in this concert.
