I was fortunate enough to attend a Friday service recently (which have long been without organ) and while I'm not sufficiently qualified to comment on the singing to the membership of this forum, I found it interesting to note some changes to SC's time, especially in the repertoire.

I then compared this term's music list to that of the same term in 2018. Considering all days of the week that the choir sing, and for choral works sung during services, most notably Bach goes from 12 to 1, Poulenc from 11 to zero! The Bach were mostly introits, seemingly replaced by Tudor composers.

A term is perhaps too short a period to make any other firm conclusions, but Howells and RVW seem much reduced, and there's more Gibbons, Tomkins and Sheppard. I am sure there will be more changes to come as the choir gradually re-establishes itself after the pandemic and future concert/tour/recording repertoire gets introduced.

Here is a sample of random Fridays (no organ) that exemplifies some of the changes:

    2018:

INTROIT J. S. Bach Ach, grosser König
    RESPONSES Radcliffe
PSALMS 12, 13, 14 Wilson, Stafford Smith, Stanford

INTROIT J. S. Bach Ach Herr, lass’ dein Lieb’ Engelein
    RESPONSES Plainsong
    PSALM 81 Tone V
    MAGNIFICAT Tone I
    NUNC DIMITTIS Tone II
    ANTHEM Lassus Stabat mater (37)

I think the disparity in Bach is easy to explain: in 2018 they were preparing for a performance of the St John Passion (27 March, I looked it up); this year they're not.
