I think many cathedrals like to keep the boys' and girls' choirs operating seperately (e.g. singing CE on different weekdays) but combine perhaps the senior choristers for special occasions. Good idea IMO.

Has anyone noticed that the gents' pronunciation occasionally reminds one of those King's recordings from the early '60s: "My soul doth megnify...", "End the rich...."...
