Quite often when the usual organ has been under repair the broadcast repertoire has been unaccompanied, or a chamber organ has been used.

Given the difficulty of getting a Choral Evensong date with the BBC and the unpredictable nature of fundraising and planning an organ refurbishment program, its not entirely surprising that the two coincided, though what a shame not to hear the Lewis organ. The electric didn't sound amazing, though they never do when they get loud.

It took me a while to realise that there were missing parts in the Parry — it was the SATB version! I wonder why they did this version... perhaps someone in the past accidentally bought the wrong version?
