    Exaudi at the Proms

We are lucky to have one of the few professional ensembles tackling 'cutting edge' music. Tonight, Exaudi will be taking part in the late prom at 10.15

Sara Mohr-Pietsch hosts an Open Ear concert of cutting-edge experimental music live from the Tanks at Tate Modern.

    Emilie Levienaise Farrouch: New Work
    LCO
    Rodrigo Constanzo (solo percussion improvisation)

    Catherine Lamb: Prisma Interius V
    LCO

    Cassandra Miller: Guide
    Exaudi

    Actress arr. Hugh Brunt: Momentum
    LCO with Actress (electronics).

    Could be fun.

Interestingly, Ian Skelly issued a barely veiled warning on an In tune promo earlier today - a ' not for the faint-hearted' sort of suggestion!!

But no chance whatever of getting from the RAH to the Tank between tonight's two Proms. Unless the first ends well before its scheduled time.

Indeed. What did In Tune listeners make of the Finnissy piece sung/played on today's programme with Exaudi? I thoroughly enjoyed it, and whilst I hate the word 'accessible'...it was!
