A little bird tells me that, with the end of the Proms in sight, this concert will be broadcast on Tuesday 19th September at 7.30 pm.
In addition to the specific items listed above, all sung by the 3 choirs together, the concert consisted of:
Holst: The Evening Watch (sung by St Paul's)
Vaughan Williams: Credo from Mass in G Minor (sung by Temple)
Whitacre: Lux Aurumque (sung by St Albans)
Wesley: Ascribe Unto The Lord (sung by the 3 choirs).
(Together with some organ music, and, possibly, an encore - my memory fails me).

Here's the full programme. Nice to see that there'll be an acknowledgment of Peter Hurford, the festival's founder, in the interval.

Three of the UK's finest choirs combine forces for St Albans International Organ Festival.

Reminder: Tuesday 19th September at 7.30 pm

Yes, Peter. Hurford....an excellent interval choice. A great choir-trainer and fine (IMO one of the best) performer and recording artist of Bach's organ works. A West Country lad to boot.

Well, that was a bit of a feast. Made all the more remarkable by the fact that the choirs (as I understand it) only got together on the day of the concert. Some excellent direction of the massed choirs by all three DoMs.

OMG The Temple really went for it in the RVW Credo. They do not meet as regularly as the other choirs. Quite remarkable IMVHO. Just wish I'd been there on the day of the concert in July.

I have now caught up on iPlayer and I found the concert thoroughly enjoyable, particularly the Chichester Psalms (confession time: despite my age and Chichester being my alma mater it is the first time I have heard them, gulp).

Do listen to the more fully orchestrated version sometime.

This one for instance is conducted by Lenny himself:
