      There seemed to be a different recording level for different items (e.g. Introit much more 'immediate' than the Psalms). Just a layman's observation. Enjoyed the CE though.

            After a glorious day of Puccini at the ROH rounded off with sublime voci pari Palestrina at the Drome, this was pure balm. The psalms and Howells in B-minor were particularly moving! An absolutely perfect Anglican sound, and everything flowering beautifully within the borders. What a legacy!

            (Oh, that KKC sounded like this. Sorry, that's negative, but I feel so strongly about it! )
