They were busy today - the Radio 4 morning service was from Norwich, too.

I assume Chester didn't get a repeat because the mood of Easter is so far removed from that of Holy Week?

Terrific - even the cymbelstern was in fine form, as were all the other elements for Evensong. The odd entry sounded as though it had been a long day, but overall very enjoyable.

And jean - just for you as it's Easter - I'd more than concede that singing perhaps wasn't the Precentor's favourite occupation, although the effort he made was gallant!
