          So much for your friend. As a bemused David Price writes on his Facebook page: "Who knew? I was, very briefly, the new Organist of Magdalen College this morning. At least on the BBC message boards."

            New Appointments to Chapel and Choir - Magdalen College

Dr Jonathan Arnold will start as the new Dean of Divinity on 1 July.  He is currently Chaplain at Worcester College, Oxford and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.                     He'll be missed at Jesus - the choir's as good as it has ever been, I think. I was listening to (I believe) their most recent CD only the other day - very very good:
