Mildly amusing, though, that while the Radio 3 website does get the tricky separation between Christ & Church (Aedes Christi), it doesn't manage to display a picture of the cathedral. It could be argued, however, that the Hall is at least closer to a broadcast than the choir/quire of Boston 'stump' ever was.
I see from Facebook today that "Friends of Cathedral Music" is handing out a record sum this year. Interestingly one of the beneficiaries on the list is St Botolph's Church, Boston (aka The Boston Stump). So, that hackneyed old picture used by the BBC may one day be relevant again if the choir develops and gets on the CE broadcast list.

I think good things are happening at St Botolph's. There was an advert in Church Times recently for a new DoM there with a £20,000+ salary making it potentially a full time post. Some of the description related to outreach work as well

Forumites might be interested that the CCCO / Darligton CD 'The Sun Most Radiant' with pieces by John Browne, William Horwood, and Wiliam, Monk of Stratford from the Eton Choirbook is out now, and top notch. It features particularly the men of the choir. Can't recommend it too highly.
