Yes I heard it and it suited them well. Those who have sung the piece will know that the printed score has the initials of the original 16 soloists for whom it was intended. I think I've been Heddle Nash or Walter Widdop, possibly both at the same time, in past performances. The piece is attractive in both its all-soloists or choral version. I can never see Isobel Baillie's name (or hear a recording of her) without a chuckle, 'cos my old singing teacher always grunted 'old cow' whenever she was mentioned.
