    That photo!!!

Isn't it about time R3 changed its default CE website photo? I've never liked it much anyway. If we can't have a photo related to the CE location each week, find a new one, please.

It is a bit girly, isn't it?

I can't say it's ever worried me much, but, now you mention it, perhaps it would be a good idea to have a shot where more than one person is in focus.

It might not be very imaginative but a shot of the location (either interior or exterior) for that week's CE would be better. If I don't know the cathedral in question I sometimes Google an image anyway.

This is what is promised by the Google search:

Choral Evensong | Programme guide | Radio Times

Latest news, reviews, photos and videos plus full episode guide. Find out when Choral Evensong is on and where it is available on demand and catch up ... Live from Blackburn Cathedral: Sun 10 Apr, 3pm: BBC Radio 3 ... Website is owned and published by Immediate Media Company Limited. www.immediatemedia.co.uk.

            This is what you get!

It appears that as a cost-cutting measure, most episodes of CE are actually from the same cathedral and with the same choir.

Right click on the image an this appears: http://images.radiotimes.com/namedim...6/p01lcfyp.jpg

I presume this is Westminster Abbey. I'm sure one of the congnescenti will be along shortly to confirm/refute this.

We had a good guessing game as to where this was a year or two back and if I remember correctly it is the Boston Stump.

I apologise, I was responsible for the guessing game (on the old board, I believe), but not for its solution, but it did indeed turn out to be St Botolph's, Boston, Lincs - so not even an establishment that has broadcast CE in my aged memory.
I agree: time for a change, Radio 3.

...nor anyone else's, I would hazard.
