Beautiful service with worship at the centre. The music ministry in the Leeds Roman Catholic Diocese shows what can be done with the right people and adequate resources in place.

Quite agree; this worked so well both musically and liturgically, as much as I am usually in the camp of wanting the broadcasts to be just dropping in on the daily, sung evening office.

This was wonderfully rewarding to listen to. And quite a stamina challenge for the choir, singing much more than the usual CE.

By the way, BWV 548 is in E minor, one of a relatively small number of major works in that key pre-Brahms 4 (and Scheherezade!. )

"small number of major works", don't you mean minor? (couldn't resist, sorry!)

No criticism of you, Pulcinella! Penny Gore said 'In E' yesterday , and of course 'in E ' means 'E major', but maybe I'm being pedantic.
