                  Somehow managed to miss the Kings service but made up for it by managing to get to the Truro cathedral version, as memorably beautiful as ever.

                    The phone rang a couple of hours before Truro’s 9L&C on Christmas Eve and I was brought out of retirement to sing. I had to sight-read three carols, including the new commission, and think I just about got away with it! It was a privilege to ‘dep’.
