What a wealth of luscious, traditional favourites on today's Sarum table d'hôte; perfect to warm a chilly November afternoon: lovely, rich blend of voices, and richly underpinned by the perfect instrument for the repertoire.

Agree. I felt the singers settled as the service progressed.

I think the airwaves must have got scrambled before they got to me - that wasn't my experience of the broadcast, sadly. Never mind, it's a rare occurrence.

I found the music thoroughly enjoyable although I was tempted to adjust the volume at one point in the Bairstow when the lower parts hit their full volume.

I thought the sound was a little too reverberant at one point in the psalm (as though the microphone had been moved away?). And there was a badly timed bang at a quiet moment in the voluntary, as if someone had slammed the Cathedral door shut!
