I'd set a thread going on this already, Draco (as requested).
But now deleted as there had been no responses.

An absolutely thrilling treble line in the anthem, really going all out, I enjoyed it immensely. The whole service worked towards that. The intercessions at the end were just right, addressing the world’s problems with a succinct clarity.
      Brilliant service.

Rarely heard such manifestly political and almost angry and certainly heart-felt intrcessions in a CE.
        Good for Blakcburn, say I!!

Absolutely. A confident and committed top line that was certainly uplifting, and also sounded as if they were taking pleasure in their singing. A true CE not a concert. I was very moved by the intercessions - content spot on and such a beautiful voice delivering them and obviously meaning every word.
            Thank you Blackburn.
