Thrilling singing with passion and conviction. A big sing with much tricky music delivered with great confidence. I especially enjoyed the Bax Magnificat and the Holst Nunc and Te Deum. The Introit by Noel Cox set a suitable reflective start to what followed. Highly recommended listen.

Some wonderful, and rarely heard, music (the Bax, for instance, was a surprise for me). And all beautifully sung and played.

The Bax is a fascinating piece with Bax’s hallmark eccentricities and also sans Gloria. I’ve heard it only once before on a webcast from Trinity Cambridge.
