    It's well known, I think, that Leopold Stokowski was once the organist here. What a pity he didn't write any church music. It would be nice to hear it sung there.

      I know I get suspicious by descriptions of acts of worship as concerts, but this felt like that today. Well performed but too much vibrato on the top line for my liking,

          I was very surprised by that, given it was Harry Christophers' choir and also that in such a small group it must surely have been obvious?

            As perhaps compensation for Sunday omissions, there’s a CE today, 15th, in thanksgiving and celebration of Proms 2024.
