      By any standard that was a fairly impressive CE. For a group of young musicians who have sung together for less than a week it was imo outstanding.

        Felt the psalms were just a bit uncertain here and there - not surprising possibly? I often feel that psalm-singing can sort out the very best ensembles.
        Howells 'Take him earth...' VG.

        And excuse my ignorance, but what was the UNlisted [ on R3 website] piece they sang at the end before Alex Ffinch's excellent Hakim?
