And Easter Greetings from me. Although, most people seem to think it about Cadburys Creme Eggs and Fluffy Bunnies, which, I suppose, doesn't surprise me. In fact, the BBC published a survey a couple of years ago which said the majority thought Easter was the anniversary of Jesus' birth.

A Happy Easter to all of you, on this the most important day in the Christian calender.

Today's the day that he hatched out of a Chocolate Egg, didnt he?

Unfortunately, that often is the case. Does anyone here attend the Holy Saturday Service of Light services?

Having been to a lovely Easter service this morning, I'm now eating my way through a pack of Cadbury's Creme Eggs and listening to Faure's Requiem. Happy Easter, everyone.

The service of light has the Exsultet, which is wonderful and here, locally, performed by a bass profrundo. However, here is one version.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I very much enjoyed watching the Easter Day Eucharist from Salisbury Cathedral this morning, being unable to get to my favourite Cathedral in Canterbury any more.

A very Happy Easter to you all, and many more

Yes Miss! Me Miss! When our Choir sang Tavener's As one who has slept - split into boys and men and girls and men, shivers ran down my spine... Our Precentor sang the Exsultet last night and it was Glorious. The Langlais Mass this morning was stunning. Wonderful!

Lizzie, our is traditional. Outside, braziers, herbs, monks, all in silence and darkness, then Esultet, Geneis, Psalm. Exodus. Exekial, more Psalms, Romans, more Psalms, Luke (it takes hours!) and then, the Liturgy of Initiation. The altar then lit up with spring flowers. Then fireworks and champagne. It is indeed wonderful, so a happy Easter to You!

Anna that is very much like us except the fire is lit inside the West End. I was there to support two friends being Confirmed so it was SO special. The Good Friday Liturgy was so intense and moving and reduced me to tears as always. The Veneration of the Cross and the taking of the 'broken body' as the Sanders Reproaches are sung and I am in bits of emotional rubble. Wonderful Holy Week and Easter all round! God bless. Liz

Lizzie, so it's not all Cadburys is it? I am glad someone else does the Easter experience, not many do.
