Well I just thought Simon Pearce, his choir and organist might like to know how the CE came across.

I hadn't heard Rejoice in the Lamb for many years and found it quite moving. I'm not a Britten devotee but I can appreciate what he was getting at here. I liked the Magnificat setting too. Who was (is?) 'Noble'?

More gorgeous singing from an excellent Cathedral choir. Not to mention tremendous organ playing.

Inexcusably listed as live in both the schedule and the programme blurb. The result of being so uncaring both of what constitutes true "live", and the quality of the online information.

, on clicking from the schedule, which itself says

. No playlist as should appear for a previously broadcast programme, so unless one knew it would seem to be properly live.
