Aplols, but R3 Website does not specify whether service is L or R.

According to Lancing College's Facebook page, it's a recording.

It's the most extravagant gothic revival chapel. The largest school chapel in the world and only just completed in 2021 due to its ambitions exceeding its funding since the mid-ninteenth century - for example the nave roof is almost as tall as that of Westminster Abbey.

I'm looking forward to hearing the acoustic.

The wind will be whistling round up on the hill today.
Sang the odd thing there , back in the day.

For a school choir, albeit Lancing, I thought it was terrific. They were obviously giving their all!

This post prompted me to look the place up - another of those "well I never" moments. What a stunning building.

The singing was pretty good too...

Given that we're in that twilight period of the year when choirs are invariably on Christmas holidays, at least there wasn't a hiatus in the weekly broadcasts of Choral Evensong.

My first post I believe as I am usually watching the posts on threads each week but as an ‘insider’ of LC Chapel, thank you for the kind comments which will be shared

For many years the post-Christmas week was a live broadcast from (I'm told a very cold) Tewkesbury Abbey by the Exon Singers.

Accomplished and lively singing. The Carter anthem beautifully done. I particularly appreciated the student prayers with a lovely performance of Edward’s gem ‘No small wonder’.
