The first time a King's commissioned carol features on a broadcast CE less than 12 months after its premier?

Odd scheduling to have this at the same time as the King's broadcast, surely?

It would if it was also the same date as the King's broadcast.

I don't quite know what Draco is playing at, but he's got me confused.

It looked like he made a mistake in the title that he corrected in his subsequent post.
I thought as a Host he'd have editing rights, but perhaps we need someone with more permissions to make that change.

But according to the R3 schedule, it is indeed LIVE tomorrow (20 December) at 16:00 and repeated on Sunday (Christmas Eve) at 15:00, so clashing then.

Apologies for foolish mistakes. I'm afraid I've had a very rocky four days. Personal issues.
              Sorry.

                    Comforting, and finely delivered.

First broadcast with the new organ? It sounded very good. Choir in very good voice. Was the top line all boys?

The presiding minister announced that the choir was "Lay Clerks and boy choristers" (or something to that effect).

I felt the miking was rather odd - something others have noticed with broadcasts this autumn.

Their webpage also says Choral Scholars. I was interested to see that they have plans for a senior boy's choir,(there is a longstanding senior girl's choir) so there will be opportunities for both boys and girls through from 6-18. I assume part of the reason would be an eye to succession of choir men.
Norwich have also recorded(yesterday) a service to be broadcast on R4 New Year's Eve, celebrating Julian of Norwich, so two bites of the cherry.
