Just a flying visit from me today, I'm afraid. Playing in the Corelli Orchestra, accompanying the three cathedral choirs in Bach's St John Passion. It will be lovely to have James Gilchrist as evangelist (I was singing alongside him in a concert in Minchinhampton a couple of weeks ago) - and nice to be duetting, for the second time this year, with Rebecca Hardwick in the soprano arias (the first time was in Hereford Cathedral at Easter.

            Not odd at all, Draco.
            There's an afternoon Prom today.

                It's a concert not a service, Draco.
Or so you often tell us.

                  Two thoughts.
It could have been decided not to repeat it at all - after all rejigging the schedule has knocked out Private Passions.
Does everyone who listens on catch-up observe the correct timing?

It would have been good IMHO to have the CE after the evening prom, 22.00 or even later. I recall when there was the luxury of two CEs a week one was a recording broadcast late on Sunday evenings. I particularly enjoyed them at that time.

Yes, later, but NOT lunchtime, surely?
