I'll toss in Paragraphs 2, 3 and 7 of Cornelius Cardew's "The Great Learning", all seven Paragraphs of which will be performed over the weekend of 11th and 12th July this summer at Union Chapel, Islington.

Then there was this...
Vytautas Miškinis
Seven O Antiphons
...in the interval of the Scriabin piano recital on R3 tonight, sung very well I thought by Royal Holloway's choir. It is very much of our time; based around a few tonal centres, chords adulterated by (rather predictable) dissonant notes and not much rhythmic organisation. As I said, of our time! But definitely effective-in-a-big-space music.

Just to tie this in further to this board, James Whitbourn used (I think) to produce the Choral Evensong broadcast on Radio 3? If you're in the Reading area, there's a chance to hear his 'Son of God' Mass in its concert version at St Peter's Earley on the evening of May 16th. The saxophonist is going to be in a little gallery at the far end of the church from the choir and organ, and in rehearsal this worked very well.
