Thought they gave the Tavener Mag a good energetic outing. T's Lord's Prayer was a bit of a cuckoo in Rose's nest maybe. Usual fine musicianship from Messrs Hill and Scriven.

Tavener Mag not my favourite I have to say, BUT it does demand disciplined singing - which it got.
For me, the Gowers Toccata was star of the show.

I take it that that Lord's Prayer doesn't have a set of responses to go with it - making this the only way to, as it were, "use" it (?)

I don't think writing a set of Anglican responses would have been Tavener's 'thing'.
