          Delightful evensong - wonderfully attentive and passionate. Am I alone in detecting echoes of the Exeter tradition of psalmody (c.f. Mr Nethsingha snr.)?

            I absolutely agree...a delightful evensong which I've heard today. Andrew was in Exeter choir as a lad under his Dad, so hardly surprising if the psalms have a Nethsingha flavour. The Chichester Psalms was a most adventurous thing to do and they had all the verve and expressiveness they need. If there have been quibbles about balance and slight lack of synch with harp and organ, this did not spoil my enjoyment.
